Your AI, your training

Ask about your StrideIQ training in an AI app you already use. Connect only when the provider is available in your StrideIQ Settings. Your AI account's own availability and usage limits also apply. Coach and your daily brief inside StrideIQ stay unchanged.

Start in StrideIQ

  1. Sign in and open Settings → Integrations. Find “Your AI, your training.”
  2. Choose your provider. StrideIQ copies the connection link and opens that provider's setup. If copying is blocked, use the link below.
  3. Add StrideIQ in the AI app, then sign in to StrideIQ and review the permissions before approving.

Use OAuth with automatic registration. You do not need an API key or your own client ID or secret. If the provider says registration is unavailable, stop and contact support rather than entering credentials into chat.

Finish in your AI app

A custom connection is not a public marketplace listing. These instructions do not mean StrideIQ has been approved or published in each provider's directory.

ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT's Plugins area and add a custom MCP server named StrideIQ using the connection link. Choose OAuth and automatic registration, install the plugin, and sign in to StrideIQ. Select StrideIQ in a new chat. If custom plugins are not available in your account, check your workspace controls or contact support.

Open ChatGPT
Gemini

On the web, open Settings → Connected Apps (sometimes under Personal Intelligence). Add the connection link under Custom apps and follow the sign-in prompts. Google currently requires an account holder aged 18 or older, a US personal account, English, and Keep Activity on. This is eligibility, not an adult-content rating. Review the additional Google privacy disclosure before connecting. After setup, use @StrideIQ in Gemini on web or mobile.

Grok

Open Connectors → New Connector → Custom. Enter the connection link, choose OAuth if asked, and sign in to StrideIQ. For a business account, your administrator may need to enable the connector first.

Claude

Open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it StrideIQ and enter the connection link. Use “Sign in now” and, if Claude asks how to identify the client, “Register automatically.” Sign in to StrideIQ, then enable the connector in your conversation. Team or Enterprise administrators may need to add it first.

Check the connection

Ask: “Use StrideIQ to show my runs from the last seven days, including distance and duration.” Compare the answer with your Activities page. A Connected badge confirms sign-in, not that the AI used a tool or answered correctly. If it cannot find StrideIQ tools, enable the connector in that chat or start a new chat.

Lookups save encrypted operational evidence in StrideIQ, so your AI may ask for permission to run a tool. They do not edit your activities, health log, or training plan. Review what the permission prompt says; you can decline.

Control what you share

Your approval screen lists the information the AI can request, which can include sensitive training, health and recovery context. Your provider's privacy settings and retention terms apply to copies it receives. Read Connected AI privacy before approving.

To stop access, disconnect the provider in StrideIQ Settings and remove it in the AI app. This stops future access; it does not erase data already shared. Use that provider's controls to manage its copies.

Need help? Contact StrideIQ support. Share the provider name and error message, never passwords, tokens, client secrets or private health records.
